Paying homage to the year in which the “Rolex” lettering first appeared on the dials, the entire Perpetual 1908 model inspired by the watchmaker’s first creation to feature a self-winding rotor. Proof of this is the stunning Intense Black dial with superbly long and narrow 18k Yellow Gold applied indexes and Arabic numerals at 12, 3 and 9 o’clock. At 6 o’clock is a small second’s dial, sportier than you might expect, with 20, 40 and 60 on the track. An elegant sword-shaped minute hand with a classic hour hand marked with a ring at the tip, made of 18k Yellow Gold. A well-readable minute scale is applied along the outer contour of the dial. All this charm is complemented by a ribbed, for a comfortable grip, domed screw-down crown in 18k Yellow Gold with the Rolex logo. The dial is covered with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The highlight of the model is the two-tiered 18k Yellow Gold bezel with a convex and tactile upper part and a characteristic grooved lower part. The model is powered by the in-house automatic Rolex mechanical movement caliber 7140, new 2023, contains 38 jewels and has an approximate power reserve of approximately 66 hours. The mesmerizing work of the mechanism can be seen through the transparent case back. This impressive watch is presented on a matt black alligator leather strap with green lining and tone-on-tone stitching, custom made for this model. It is fitted with an 18k Yellow Gold Dualclasp folding clasp. Thanks to its carefully shaped design, the Dualclasp is always centered on the wrist for maximum comfort. Water resistant up to 50m/165ft (5 ATM).
